Hvar is an island in the Adriatic Sea, the longest and sunniest island in Croatia and one of the most beautiful islands in the world.
It is not my first trip to Croatia. I started exploring Croatia from Split. These are completely different cities. In Hvar, I liked it a lot more.
You can get to Hvar by ferry Jadrolinija for 110.00 km one way. The ferry trip takes about an hour. You can get tea or coffee inside.
In general, Hvar is a youth and party island.
My first impression when I got to this island was as if I were in a fairy tale. Very beautiful. Like the scenery for the series "Game of Thrones."
It was a hard way to the hotel. It would seem very close, but the road is old and rocky. There are no cars near the ferry. And in the whole city, I also did not see cars — narrow stony streets. Everything is close. Just go with a suitcase is not convenient.
When we reached the desired street, it was decently to go up the stairs with a suitcase. Without a man in any way) Or you need to take hand luggage only.
We stayed at the Grand Hotel Park Hvar. It is a charming hotel with beautiful surroundings and a romantic atmosphere. It locates in the historic center of Hvar. The only minus of the hotel is that it does not have an elevator, and there is no porter person either. Therefore, it is better to book a room maximum on the second floor.
The room for 280 euros turned out to be quite spacious and clean. With the port view. There are a bedroom and a separate entrance hall: Tv, air conditioning, minibar, work desk. Everything is super. The bathroom is spacious with a shower.
The hotel locates in the historic city center. There are many cafes, bars, and restaurants around. Directly in the hotel is the Park Hvar restaurant. It serves breakfast in the mornings until 11 a.m. The rest of the time, it is a restaurant. The breakfast is gorgeous. There are homemade yogurt, fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and much more. I especially remember croissants with jam. Without exaggeration, these are the most delicious croissants I've eaten anywhere.
On the steps, near the hotel, is a very fine restaurant, Black Pepper. This restaurant is suitable for vegetarians, vegans, those who eat gluten-free dishes; for all this, there are unique icons on the menu. The name of the restaurant speaks for itself. All dishes are offered to eat with the pepper of different types. A waiter will come up to you and offer to sprinkle the plate with one or another ground pepper. You will also be provided homemade tincture, a compliment from the chef, and, in the end, sweet wine. I personally did not like the fish I ordered. The tuna was good. And tartare and the dish itself. The cheesecake dessert was delicious, but pepper is not necessary there. Although unusual. There is also ice cream with pepper. I recommend visiting this place, not for food, but sitting in a restaurant, whose tables located on the steps. Very unusual.
Going down the street is Central Park Club. Beautiful place with live music in the evenings, delicious cocktails, and good food. In the Moroccan style. Even non-alcoholic cocktails are incredibly delicious — especially Pina Colada and Mojito. In addition to the veranda, you can sit at the tables, right on the steps. There are special pillows. Very romantic to start the evening together.
The beaches in Hvar are, in my opinion, not the best, albeit very picturesque. Stony and with hedgehogs. Without slippers, I would not risk swimming. I read on the forums that it seems like somewhere nearby, you can find sand, but we did not go.
Bonj' Les Bains' beach club is one of the most expensive beaches in Hvar with a long history. The restaurant is tasty but not cheap, with a beautiful view. The beach is nothing special. Still rocky and with hedgehogs. Sunbeds are located on the pier. The price for one ordinary sunbed is about 100 euros.
Hula Hula is a beach for youth. Everyone is dancing and drinking and bathing a little. The toilet is terrible; I say right away. I would not recommend resting here all day. You can eat, see the situation.
Carpe Diem Beach is a great choice to spend all day. This is a charming beach with a restaurant and bar, located on the whole island near Hvar. At night, it turns into a nightclub. You can get there by free taxi boats, which are parked in front of the Carpe Diem City bar.
We did not go to clubs, as we were busy filming. One evening we went to the Seven bar. They wanted to smoke a hookah. Doubtful pleasure cost 50 euros. We regretted ordering it. Since the hookah man is not there, you will have to change the coals and light — tasteless tobacco. We didn't drink alcohol, so I can't say anything about drinks. The juice is delicious. The music is also good.
The nightlife is very diverse. You can go from bar to bar throughout the port.

At Aroma gelato boutique in the port, make one of the best ice creams in Hvar. There are a lot of flavors and all homemade from natural ingredients. I am always lining up, especially in the evening. The best time not to stand in line for long is 13: 00-14: 00.
Hvar Island is worth a visit once to fall in love. Of course, beaches are not perfect. But the landscapes and architecture are fascinating. We were only three days and four nights and did not have time to visit everything. With pleasure, I would return there again to walk around historical places.

Как только мы спустились с парома и забрали багаж. Нам предстоял нелегкий путь до отеля. Казалось бы очень близко, но дорога старая и каменистая. Машин рядом с паромом нет. И во всем городе я тоже не видела машин. Узкие каменистые улочки. Все очень быстро и рядом. Вот только идти с чемоданом не удобно.
Дойдя до нужной улицы. Предстояло прилично подняться по лестнице с чемоданом. Без мужчины никак) Либо нужно брать ручную кладь только.
Остановились мы в отеле Grand Hotel Park Hvar. Это очаровательный отель, с красивой обстановкой и романтической атмосферой. Расположен в историческом центре города Хвар. Единственный минус отеля, что в нем нет лифта и человека носильщика тоже нет. Поэтому лучше бронировать номер максимум на втором этаже.
Номер за 280 евро оказался довольно просторным и чистым. С видом на порт. Есть спальня и отдельно прихожая. Телевизор, кондиционер, мини бар, рабочий стол. Все супер. Ванная просторная. С душевой кабиной.
Отель расположен в историческом центре города. Вокруг много кафе, баров и ресторанов. Непосредственно в самом отеле находится ресторан Park Hvar. В нем подается завтрак по утрам до 11 часов. В остальное время это ресторан. Завтрак шикарный. Есть йогурт ручной работы, свежие фрукты, выпечка, яйца и еще много чего. Особенно мне запомнились круассаны с джемом. Без преувеличения это самые вкусные круассаны, которые я где-либо ела.
На ступеньках, у отеля, располагается весьма необычный ресторан Black Pepper. Этот ресторан подойдет для вегетарианцев, веганов, тех кто ест безглютеновые блюда, для всего этого есть специальные значки в меню. Название ресторана говорит само за себя. Все блюда предлагается кушать с перцем разных видов. К вам подойдет официант и предложит посыпать блюдо тем или иным молотым перцем. Так же вам предложат домашнюю настойку, комплемент от шеф повара и в конце сладкое вино. Рыба, которую я заказывала, лично мне не понравилась. Тунец был хороший. И тартар и само блюдо. Десерт чизкейк был вкусный, но перец там вовсе не обязателен. Хотя необычно. Так же там есть мороженое с перцем. Я рекомендую посетить это место не ради еды, а просто, чтобы посидеть в ресторанчике, столики которого расположены на ступеньках. Очень необычно.
Спускаясь ниже по улице, находится Central Park Club. Милое место с живой музыкой по вечерам, вкусными коктейлями и неплохой едой. В марокканском стиле. Даже безалкогольные коктейли невероятно вкусные. Особенно Пина Колада и Мохито. Помимо веранды, можно посидеть за столиками, прямо на ступеньках. Там есть специальные подушки. Весьма романтично, чтобы начать вечер вдвоем.

Так как кальянщика там нет. Вы сами себе должны будете менять угли и раскуривать. Табак невкусный. Алкоголь мы не пили, поэтому про напитки ничего сказать не могу. Сок вкусный. Музыка тоже неплохая.
Ночная жизнь очень разнообразна. Можно переходить из бара в бар по всему порту.
А еще есть лавочки, работающие 24 часа с очень вкусной выпечкой, пиццей и хот-догами.
